Pavel Landovsky - BIOGRAPHY
Pavel Landovský se narodil 11. září 1936 v Havlíčkově Brodě. Původně se vyučil nástrojařem, po maturitě na strojní průmyslovce se celkem čtyřikrát marně pokoušel dostat na studium herectví na DAMU. Prošel jako statista divadelními scénami v Šumperku, Klatovech a Pardubicích. Nakonec na 10 let zakotvil v pražském Činoherním klubu, kde působil také jako příležitostný dramatik (hry Hodinový hoteliér či Chudobinec aneb případ vesnického policajta). Po podpisu Charty 77 odešel do emigrace do Rakouska, od roku 1989 ovšem opět hraje doma v ČR. Na československém filmovém nebi zářil již v šedesátých (např. OSTŘE SLEDOVANÉ VLAKY, MARKÉTA LAZAROVÁ, UTRPENÍ MLADÉHO BOHÁČKA či ADELHEID) a začátkem sedmdesátých let (např. NEZVANÝ HOST, SLAMĚNÝ KLOBOUK aj.). Po návratu z emigrace se opět zapojil do tvorby svým nezapomenutelným majorem Terazkym v komedii ČERNÍ BARONI, v posledních letech je i ve svém pokročilém věku stále vitální a filmově aktivní (KOUSEK NEBE, VRATNÉ LAHVE, CHYŤTE DOKTORA). Významný český herec a dramatik, bývalý disident, signatář Charty 77, velice svérázný, osobitý a svobodomyslný herec se, ač byl a je bez jakéhokoliv systematického hereckého vzdělání, v průběhu let propracoval mezi nejoriginálnější i nejuznávanější české herce pouze svým nesporným talentem a vahou své vskutku nepřehlédnutelné kontroverzní osobnosti.
