Roland Bertin - BIOGRAPHY
Roland Bertin, né à Paris le 16 novembre 1930, est un acteur français, sociétaire honoraire de la Comédie-Française. Il est l’un des fondateurs du Centre Dramatique de Bourgogne. Fils de Pierre Bertin, en 1955, il participe à la fondation du Théâtre de Bourgogne avec Jacques Fornier. Il restera 9 ans dans la troupe. Puis il joue sous la direction de Roger Planchon, Jorge Lavelli, Patrice Chéreau, Luca Ronconi, Claude Régy... En 1982, il entre à la Comédie-Française, et devient Sociétaire de 1983 à 2001. Il y joue un grand répertoire de pièces diverses : Mère Courage et ses enfants de Bertolt Brecht, Dom Juan de Molière, Le Balcon de Jean Genet, Les Estivantsde Maxime Gorki... ou encore Elle est là de Nathalie Sarraute. Depuis 2002, il est Sociétaire honoraire. Dernièrement il a joué avec Dominique Pitoiset dans La Tempête de Shakespeare, avec Yves Beaunesne dans Oncle Vania d’Anton Tchekhov et dans La Princesse Maleine de Maurice Maeterlinck. Au cinéma et la télévision, il joue sous la direction de Jean-Jacques Beineix dans Diva, de Patrice Chéreau dansL'Homme blessé, de Jean-Paul Rappeneau dans Cyrano de Bergerac... Au cours de sa carrière, il a reçu plusieurs distinctions honorifiques : Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur, de l'Ordre national du Mérite, et Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres. En 2007, Roland Bertin joue dans L'Ignorant et le Fou de Thomas Bernhard au Théâtre de l'Athénée-Louis-Jouvet. Le 16 janvier 2008, il a été hospitalisé à l'hôpital Pontchaillou de Rennes à la suite d'un malaise après 45 minutes de représentation de la tragédie de Shakespeare, Coriolan.
