Veronique Genest - BIOGRAPHY
Dans les années 1980, après quelques publicités et des petits rôles comme La Loupe du diable de Pierre Badel ou La Banquière de Francis Girod où elle figure encore sous son véritable nom, elle démarre une carrière cinématographique, prenant son pseudonyme avec la mini-série Nana, qui lui fait rencontrer la célébrité en 1981. Elle joue également quelques pièces au théâtre. En 1992, elle devient populaire grâce à la série policière française Julie Lescaut, diffusée sur TF1, et dont elle interprète le rôle-titre. En 2004, elle remporte le Grand concours de la fiction française, animé par Carole Rousseau. Parallèlement à sa carrière de comédienne, elle a créé sa propre maison de production, Sam et Compagnie, avec son mari Meyer Bokobza. Elle revient au théâtre en 2012 avec la pièce Plein la vue, où elle donne la réplique à sa belle-fille, Gabou Bokobza.
