Elle débute au cinéma en 1987 et obtient le rôle principal de la série italienne à succès La Caverne de la Rose d'Or (1991-1996), avec Kim Rossi Stuart, Ursula Andress, Nicholas Rogers et Brigitte Nielsen. À partir de 2011, elle est jurée lors des deux premières saisons de l'émission Danse avec les stars sur TF1. Elle ne participe pas à la saison 3 en tant que jurée, en raison de sa grossesse.
