Ugur Yucel - BIOGRAPHY
1957 yılında İstanbul'da doğdu. İstanbul Belediye Konservatuarı Tiyatro Bölümünü bitirdi. 1975-1984 yılları arasında Kenter Tiyatrosu, Tef Kabare Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu ve Şan Müzikholü’nde çeşitli oyunlarda oynadı. Selamsız Bandosu ve Muhsin Bey (1987) adlı filmlerdeki rolleri ile büyük çapta beğeni topladı. Bunların dışında, Sezen Aksu ve Müjde Ar ile ayrı ayrı sahne şovları yaptı. Televizyonda, Aziz Ahmet, Karanlıkta Koşanlar, Alacakaranlık ve Hırsız Polis gibi dizilerde oynadı; bunlardan Karanlıkta Koşanlar'ın tamamını ve Alacakaranlık'ın bazı bölümlerini (Alican Yücel takma adıyla) yönetti. Karanlıkta Koşanlar dizisinin senaryosunu, Ahmet Ümit'in polisiye öyküsünden uyarlayarak yazdı; Alacakaranlık'ın yazımına da katkıda bulundu. Arabesk'le, ‘Sinema Yazarları Derneği En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu’, Muhsin Bey'le Antalya Film Festivali’nde ‘En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu’ ödüllerini aldı. İlk sekiz bölümünü çektiği İkinci Bahar adlı Tv dizisiyle İletişim Fakültesi En İyi Tv Yönetmeni Ödülünü aldı. Gemide ve Laleli’de Bir Azize filmlerinin müziklerini yaptı. Yönettiği ilk film olan Yazı Tura ile Antalya Film Festivali En İyi Film, En İyi Senaryo, En İyi Yönetmen ödülleri dahil 11 ödül aldı. En son, 2007 yılında sona eren Hırsız Polis isimli dizide rol aldı ve başrollerini Türkan Şoray ile birlikte paylaştığı Hayatımın kadınısın adlı filmi çekti.
